After meeting Jason, Nick, and Fernando while playing music at School of Rock, she immediately jumped at the chance to get the guys into the rehearsal room. The group kept playing together even after their School of Rock season had ended, with a unique mix of covers and starting to dabble in an original sound.

Concurrently, she had been writing songs with Matthew Amster-Burton in a bedroom music project called The Twilight Diners. When Meredith merged the two projects, she wasn’t quite sure how it would go. But the result? So far – chef’s kiss. Her original songs leapt to life before her eyes. The quality, care, and skill each player brings truly shines because of the humans in the room. MSB would not be who they are today without them.

Now, the group writes and records new music together, with lush guitar instrumentation, driving rhythms, layered effects, and fun harmonies. The band continues to explore Meredith’s twee-inspired indie rock and original songwriting, and adds new touches of shoegaze, danceable beats, and a polished sound.

They’re working on a full length LP of 10 songs with elements of twee, shoegaze, and indie to create something new, but also timeless. Every show is definitely a mix of emotions, but always a good time. Currently, they play songs from the EP–More than a Dream –as well as choice covers and unreleased music.
