With throwback indie rock riffs, twee tendencies and a high emotional IQ, the band offers a quaint but polished playlist with a big sound–and a bigger heart.
Having recorded their first EP, More than a Dream, over the course of 2024 and 2025, Meredith began to build a band to support the music created at home by herself and Matthew Amster-Burton. After meeting Jason, Nick, and Fernando while playing music at School of Rock, she immediately jumped at the chance to get the guys into the rehearsal room. The result? A blend of jangly twee, fuzzy shoegaze and danceable indie – for fans of The Sundays, Joy Division, Japanese Breakfast, and local legends like Coral Grief and Sea Lemon.
Now, the group writes and records new music together, with lush guitar instrumentation, driving rhythms, layered keyboards and effects, and guy/girl harmonies. The band continues to explore Meredith’s twee-inspired indie rock and original songwriting, and adds new touches of shoegaze, danceable beats, and a polished sound.
They’re working on a full length LP of 10 songs with elements of twee, shoegaze, and Millennial indie to create something new, but also timeless.
